New Cooperation of the LAPPGROUP with the CADENAS GmbH
| Design made easy Designers of machine tools and plant engineering have reasons to be excited. The LAPPGROUP, situated in Stuttgart, offer to their customers a new improved 3D-CAD service. With this service, the design is not only made much easier, but even the selection of the correct components is simplified. The new PARTcommunity Onlineportal has been developed by the Software producer CADENAS GmbH, situated in Augsburg. The 3D-CAD system was presented at the Hannover fair at the LAPPGROUP booth which created an enormous amount of interest and was a huge success. It works easily and provides a host of benefits: A 3D-view of the product visualizes perfectly the chosen models. New Search-Functions facilitates location of the components. The 3D models can be exported quite easily in different CAD formats. All visitors to the portal can see all the product information without having to register. Only when the user wants to download the data is registration necessary. The use is free of charge. The new 3D CAD Service has been extended to include more than 1000 products. From now on all the brands SKINTOP® cable glands, SILVYN® cable protection and conduit systems and EPIC® industrial connectors are integrated. It includes all the additional news which was presented on the fair. Norbert Gregor, managing director of the U.I. Lapp GmbH stated: "We want to support our customers to generate technical documentation. They together with our new, free of charge service will not only be able to illustrate solutions which are in need of explanation, but even be able to select on the screen the appropriate products via the Lapp 3D-CAD catalogue."
